cherokee-project.com

Thanks to our old and incompetent registar some moron stole our domain name, and hence, we have been forced to move to another one.

We knew that the previous domain name was kind of cryptic and hard to remember, so even if we've had to migrate everything (services, website, etc) in a quite precipitated way, I suppose that it might end up being something positive for the project in the short/medium term.

So, please welcome: http://www.cherokee-project.com :-)

Euskadi Digital on Cherokee

A few days ago, I was interviewed for the Euskadi Digital station on the Cherokee project.

It is great to see how more are more people are interested in the project, big sites switching to Cherokee, the project community growing, and as in this case, non IT people learning about the project from the mass media.

The interview is available on-line, you can either download the MP3 file (6,5 Mb) or listen it right now:

.. ah, by the way, it is in Spanish.

Bounty hunting launched!

I'm glad to announce that the Cherokee bounty hunting program is now ready and running.

This initiative provides a number of tasks we would like to get done in the future releases. Each task has an associated prize. If you implement any of them, you will earn the bounty. Isn't it a wonderful way to have fun and earn money at the same time?

This is an initiative we are going to keep running on the Cherokee project. As long as your contributions help to improve the project quality and its diffusion, we will try to pay you back!

I would like to thank DynDNS for supporting this initiative.
